Six Songs For Solo Piano | Featured Performance
In the early part of September, Composer Josh Lucan approached me to perform a small set of solo piano pieces for a new album. We had never met, but the moment I heard his writing I immediately agreed! The following is a gorgeous little set of music I thoroughly enjoyed bringing to life. Josh’s aesthetic is all about the little details, the creaks in the piano bench, the character of the piano. I knew right away that the place to do it was with engineer / producer Brad Cobb at his studio odark30. Recorded across two sessions in two days, this was a special moment in time with some newfound friends and wonderful music!
